Amanda is a clerk at ABC Company Bhd. She bought a MyV car by hire purchase from Tan

Company Sdn Bhd with monthly installment of RM300.00. So far, Amanda has paid installments

up to 75 percent of the car price. Amanda was terminated from her job in August 2020. She used

her saving to pay the monthly installments for MyV, however she failed to pay the installments

for September and November 2020. Tan Company Sdn Bhd has given written notice in Schedule

4 to repossess the car after one month from the date of the notice. Upon receiving the notice,

Amanda immediately took the car to her village in Terengganu and keep the car there so that it

cannot be located by Tan Company Sdn Bhd.
