"Amazon is guided by four principles: customer obsession rather than competitor focus, passion for invention, commitment to operational excellence, and long-term thinking."

The above quote is cited on Amazon's official website, and from that, it is evident that the company is following a path of sustaining in the global market and for which it has been ranked at #2 in fortune500.

In July 2020, Amazon revealed a 43.4% expansion in North American deals and 33.5% overall income development in the second quarter of 2020 (report by smart insights,2020). Online deals of staple goods have significantly increased as buyers went online in enormous numbers to purchase food during the COVID-19 pandemic, and Amazon expanded its staple conveyance limit by 160%. Amazon promoting methodology contextual analysis in the books for almost 20 years now a wide range of organizations can gain from their computerized business technique, their reaction to the pandemic is noteworthy yet not completely astonishing for a brand which is 'client fixated'. From new companies and private ventures to huge worldwide organizations, they would be able to gain from their emphasis on the client, especially right now, testing market openings made accessible by computerized innovation and their attention on testing and investigation to improve results.

Amazon is one of the world's biggest multi-national company today and, from my understanding, it is following different protocols and strategies depending upon the country to country.

-In India, amazon uses a Cash on delivery option. In which you can pay whenever you receive your package, which is not the same in Canada or in the USA. In Canada or in the USA, the buyer must first pay for it, and then the package is shipped. If we investigate this difference, the only question arises in our head is, "why is it so?".It is because India is behind Canada/ America in terms of technology and many other aspects, but here we are talking about in terms of technology. E-payments and E-commerce were very weak, and very fewer people had access to internet until 2018, when the Jio network was launched in India at very affordable rates, which enabled the whole country to get access to the internet, but Amazon was launched and arrived in India in February 2012. So, to rectify the problem of E-payments, Cash on Delivery (COD) payment mode was added in Amazon.in and is still there.

This strategy was the key success for amazon to build a brand image and a positive market in India, and because of that, amazon could successfully beat its competitors in the Indian market, i.e., eBay. Back in 2012, there were only eBay and Amazon.

please make critical critique of how the company is using its services and the mode of delivery to differentiate from its competition in each of the markets. and write brief explanation
