No record of sales has been kept but GHS 61,500 has been received from persons to whom goods have been sold GHS 48,000 by cheque and GHS 13,500 in cash. b) Amount paid to suppliers by cheque during the year was GHS 31,600. c) The following expenses were paid by cheque and cash during the year as follows: By cheque - Rent GHS 3,800 - Printing & Stationery Expenses GHS 310 - Insurance GHS 1,300 - Medical Expenses GHS 400 - Salaries & Wages GHS 2,400 - Carriage Inwards GHS 800 - Selling Expenses GHS 950 - Bank Charges GHS 120 GHS By cash - Rent GHS 400 d) Chris took GHS 250 a week for 52 weeks as drawings e) Other Information available are as follows: At 31 Dec 2019 At 31 Dec 2020 GHS GHS Accounts Receivable 5,500 6,600 Accounts Payable 1,600 2,600 Rent Owing - 350 Provision for Doubtful Debts 275 330 Bank Balance 5,650 11,970 Cash balance 320 420 Inventory 6,360 6,800 Insurance Prepaid 200 300 f) The only non-current assets consists of furniture and fittings which were valued at 31st December, 2020 at GHS 3,300 and they are to be depreciated at 10% per annum.
