An ammonia - air mixture containing 2 % ammonia will be scrubbed with pure water at 2 0 oC and 1 atm in a tray

An ammonia-air mixture containing 2% ammonia will be scrubbed with pure water
at 20oC and 1 atm in a tray tower. The water flow rate is 13.5 kg/h.m2 and the gas
flow rate at the inlet is 13.5 kg/h.m2. Assume operating line is straight.
a) Calculate the theoretical number of trays required to absorb 98% of the
ammonia entering the tower using the equilibrim relationship y=0.746 x.
b) Calculate the molar flow rates of the gas and the liquid mixtures leaving the
absorption tower. In addition, calculate the inert flow rates.
