An ethical challenge I encountered was a co-worker being harassed by another coworker who repeatedly made inappropriate comments about her, creating a hostile environment. To address this ethical and legal violation, an I/O psychologist could have conducted thorough employee training on anti-harassment policies and reporting procedures (Escartn et al., 2021). They could also develop clear codes of conduct outlining prohibited behaviors and consequences. Additionally, the I/O psychologist could implement anonymous reporting mechanisms and impartial investigation protocols to properly handle harassment complaints (Taha, 2023). Regular climate surveys would help identify problematic work cultures conducive to harassment, allowing targeted interventions to promote a safe, respectful workplace for all employees
