An inclining test is performed on a vessel with a displacement of 10 000 tonnes and a KM (metacentric height) of 7 meters. Throughout the test, various masses are loaded aboard, as indicated in Table 1. It's important to note that these masses are not considered part of the ship's lightweight. For this test, all the vessel's tanks are either entirely full or completely empty. The inpline is induced by using four weights, each weighing 5 tonnes, as illustrated in Figure 1.
