An operating Category A CBSD device need not be registered with a SAS if:

It only uses internal antennas.

It is deployed indoors.

It is mounted outdoors at or below $6m$ Height Above Average Terrain $($HAAT$).$

All CBSDs must be registered with a SAS prior to operation.
