Anakin and his friends in the feared Sith Gang often loiter outside a service station in Toorak. Drawn from schools in the inner eastern suburbs they are constantly on the look out for the excitement of using knives to rob vulnerable individuals. Recently, Anakin has begun to regret hanging out with his friends. He no longer brings a knife with him when they meet. He feels remorse for those who he has wronged. Recently Sheev, one of the leaders of the gang, pointed at an unsuspecting pedestrian and signaled Anakin and the others to attack him. Anakin refuses. Later heHe tells Sheev that 'what we have been doing is wrong'. Infuriated, Sheev pins Anakin to the wall and places his knife against Anakin's throat. Sheev says to Anakin 'I've had enough of you mate, you're a weak dog who's gone soft. If you don't go into that service station and steal a carton of smokes for me, this knife will be the last thing you ever see.' Anakin is terrified and runs into the service station. He sees a carton of cigarettes on the counter which a customer is buying. He grabs it and runs out. Both the shopkeeper and customer chase Anakin and the group away from the shop. Anakin is arrested shortly after. Advise Anakin on any crime he may have committed and any defence he may have to it.
