Analysis of Variance (One Way ANOVA)

A drug company wishes to compare the effects of three drugs X Y and Z that are being developed to reduce cholesterol levels. Each drug is administered to six patients at the recommended dosage for six months. At the end of this period the reduction in cholesterol levels is recorded for each patient. The results are given in the following table.

1. analyze these data using one way ANOVA. Test at the 0.05 significance level, complete an ANOVA table and determine whether the company can conclude there is a difference in the mean number of the effect of the drugs
