a)Create 1 page in the attached powerpoint for each category above. On each page make a table in powerpoint to give an overview of the vendor market.
Hint -Some ideas of sources, but please feel free to find your own - G2, Capterra, Gartner are sites that should have some info on this, or the company's own site or industry websites like channele2e.com; mspgeek.org/; mspresources.org; msptoday.com/(you shouldn't have to go to too many of these sites though) List of the vendors of software for MSP companies to use for each of these services and organize the following information into columns in a table (bold item is a column). Try to get 3-7 Vendors that seem focused on this SME or MSP market & do the following
Vendor name (1st column)
Target Market Target MSP / SME / Large Enterprise
Does the software seem to be trying to sell directly to MSPs or do they seem to also sell to SMEs directly? If they sell to companies - do they seem to only sell to Enterprise customers or also medium or small companies?
Comments
if needed put comments that would help an executive get a sense for the players in the market and where they seem to be focused. can be blank if not needed
Value proposition What do they claim to do that is unique or different or special vs. competitors?
Reputation what is their rating on G2 or Capterra?
Price Any idea of pricing?
Traction Anything about how big they are - # customers is best. could be # MSPs using them or # users using it or "x% of SMEs use us" or total revenue.
