Andrianna is a stylish university student that went shopping for deals on Boxing Day with her mother. When Andrianna walked though the front door of Hellas Women's Boutique, an alarm was set off. Andrianna turned around to see two older women, who she assumed were security guards, looking at her in a suspicious manner. Andrianna continued shopping with her mother, but, unfortunately, could not find any bargains that she liked. As they were leaving the boutique, the alarm again went off when Andrianna walked through the doors. After she and her mother reached the sidewalk outside the store, the two ladies (who were security guards) approached Andrianna. One of the security guards lightly touched her on the shoulder and asked her to return to the store. Andrianna, believing that she had no choice, turned around and walked back into the boutique (the alarm again went off when she re-entered the store). Andrianna was asked by one of the security guards to remove her jacked and walk through the doors, which Andrianna did. When she walked through the doors without her jacket on, the alarm did not go off. After an inspection of Andrianna and her cloths, the security guards found a Hellas Boutique security tag attached to the sleeve - these tags trigger the door alarm. The store manager then took the tag, wrote down Andrianna's name and address, and told her to take her jacket and leave. This episode was witnessed by over two dozen people, who where shopping in the boutique at the same time. Andrianna was humiliated and then became even angrier when she returned home and remembered she had purchased the jacket, months earlier, at another location of Hellas Women's Boutique - which is why the tag was on the jacket - the other location forgot to remove the tag. Andrianna, fortunately has a receipt of this purchase and now wants to sue the boutique. Which tort should she use? Whom should she sue? What are her chances of success? If she wins her case, what remedies might the court award?
