1. Anna and Megan were friends at their college in Arkansas. They were both in the school of art and made jewelry, which they sold to friends at the college. Anna has since moved to Oregon where she designs jewelry and lives with her husband and two children. Megan now lives in Illinois where she works for a jewelry manufacturer. Olivia went to college with Anna and Megan and often bought jewelry from them. She now lives in Rhode Island. One day she is playing with her son and a piece of jewelry she bought from Megan and Anna stabs his eye causing significant injury. Olivia files suit in Rhode Island and calls Megan and Anna to tell them about the lawsuit and threaten repercussions if they do not appear at the first court date.
