b. Assume that the essential capabilities of an intelligent control tower for the Panama Canal logistics community are the following:

i. End-to-end visibility and actionability, which provide effective means for the intelligent control tower to timely detect potential disruptions anywhere in the logistics community of the Panama Canal and to take action autonomously (if needed) to minimize the impact of the disruption.

ii. Consolidation of community data (data from the Panama Canal logistics community), which provide effective means for the control tower to collect and process data to be used by the AI&ML algorithms in the generation of both prescriptive analytics required for the autonomous resolution of problems and scenarios and plans required for the autonomous operation of the Panama Canal.

iii. Autonomous resolution of problems, which provide effective means for the control tower to use predictive analytics to select the course of action that works best for all members of the logistics community of the Panama Canal.

iv. Autonomous operation, which provide effective means to facilitate the orchestration as well as the concurrent planning and execution of all processes of the logistics community of the Panama Canal.
