For the above data, build a (pointwise) distribution series (i.e. framed list of values and frequencies). Find the weighted arithmetic mean, median and mode. Task2. [5pts] The time X (in minutes) of the delay of 10 trains was examined and the following results were obtained: 4, 8, 4, 25, 6, 18, 20, 26, 18, 12. Calculate the arithmetic mean, median, mode and the following variation characteristics: variance, standard deviation, coefficient of variation. Task3. (5pts] The weight of a package of flour is a random variable X with the expected value m and standard deviation o. 100 packages were randomly selected from the batch of flour and it was calculated that X100 = 0.998kg, $10o = 0.005kg. At the significance level o = 0.01 verify Ho(m = 1.0) vs. Hi(m 18.5) e) At the significance level of 0.05 check the hypotheses Ho(m = 20) vs. Hi(m # 20) Task5. [5pts] Use the information provided to check the suggested hypotheses. We assume that the considered feature X has a normal distribution N(m, o) and we verify the hypothesis Ho(m = 7) vs. the hypothesis formulated below a) Hi(m 7), m = 8, $2 = 4, a = 0.02 c) Hi(m # 7),m = 9, $2 = 9, a = 0.05 Task6. Task8. [5pts] There is an inscription on the matchboxes: 48 matches on average. A random sample of 20 boxes was taken from the morning delivery and it was calculated that the average number of matches in a box is 47.5 pcs and the standard deviation in this sample is 3 pcs. We assume that the distribution of the number of matches in the boxes is normal N(m, o). At the o = 0.01 significance level, determine if the inscription on the box is consistent with reality.
