2. Based on the first video (Fixed Action Pattern), Do you agree on his/her perspective on it? Why?
"........... I believe that this clip was a good example of what a fixed action pattern really is. This clip shows a goose and how she handles "eggs'. It is natural instinct for these birds to roll their eggs, being that they are tender and hold life. In this video the commentator explains that in the mother's eyes, all of the presented objects are eggs. In the video we watch the mother Goose roll a pool ball, a nesting doll, a light bulb, and a wooden cube. This is a perfect example of this bird's instinct; regardless of what the object was, she handled them all the same, and rolled them underneath her like she would an egg. "
3. Based on the second video (Process of Habituation), Do you agree on his/her perspective on it? Why?
"................... The second video goes into the dual process theory of habituation and sensitization. Habitituation refers the the decrease in reaction to stimulus when presented to it multiple times. While sensitization refers to the opposite, an increase in response following multiple interactions with the stimulus. Habituation only interacts with one stimulus being that it is stimulus specific. In that a person can habituated themselves into liking lime juice, but still react to lemon juice very strongly. Sensitization on the other hand includes other stimuli. These concepts led to the development of the dual process theory. The theory taht both habituation and sensitivation occur simultaneously, but triggering other systems in an organism. "
