• Antonio grew up in East Los Angeles. He joined a gang and began drinking and using drugs. One night, he and his friends were involved in a fight with a rival gang. Antonio ran away from the fight, but after he had left, a member of the rival gang was killed. Antonio and his friends were charged with the homicide. Antonio was eventually acquitted. He later moved to a small town, changed his name, married, had a family, and became a respected member of the community. Thirty years after the events, Danny, a filmmaker, discovered the story of the crime and trial from old news reports and made a documentary about it entitled, "East L.A. Rumble," revealing Antonio's new name and current location. Antonio's reputation in his small town was damaged.
