Apply the Moral Deliberation Roadmap (MDR) to decide what the right thing to do in the "Clouds Over the Mountain" case. Here, "the right thing to do" is not necessarily the same thing you would do, as a service member, because the duty to obey lawful orders might override doing what you think is the best thing. If you decide that the right thing to do is contrary to your orders, then perhaps you could explain your point of view to your superiors and try to get your orders changed.
