Appropriate financial decisions are important for success of any company. Sometimes, erroneous selection of project or investment ruins the overall companys financial condition. There are number of financial or engineering economic tools available but the appropriateness of a given project, estimate its value, and justify it from an engineering economics standpoint is the key. Its known that engineering economics provides the tools and techniques in evaluating alternatives economically and source of many engineering decisions are based on engineering economics [Sharfuddin Ahmed Khan] In this assignment, each group are required to select and identify a financial report of an engineering based company (I suggest select Small and Medium Company). From the financial report, you are required to present the companys economy scenario in term of its cash flow (inflow and outflow), capital investment, depreciation, expenses etc.

TASK:

Based on the selection,

i) Tabulate the companys financial data in a table [use 2019 financial data].

ii) Assuming MARR is 10%, evaluate the companys financial performance compare to the previous year. Use the equivalent worth; Present Worth (PW) and Future Worth (FW) as a basic information in your judgment.

iii) Present the financial data in a cash flow diagram.
