a.Prepare a agenda and an outline of all content to be discussed including an overview of the assessment and rating process and your plan to facilitate the service self-assessment process.

The meeting must cover:

i.Include one strategy you will use to clarify that all staff understand the NQF and other legislation and regulations relevant to the service

ii.Provide a review of the key points of the Self-Assessment Tool (SAT) and check if staff have anything to add;

iii.Provide staff with details of the sources from whom they can clarify aspects of the assessment and rating process;

iv.Include one strategy for collecting information for the self-assessment process.

v.Call for other suggestions from staff for collecting information for the self-assessment process - you will need to gather four strategies for collecting or sharing information i.e. one strategy each for staff, children, families and community;

vi.Determine strategies for making the self-assessment visible in the service to inform discussion and agree on a location to place the self-assessment tool.

vii.Confirm with staff that you will develop the SAT based on the outcomes of this meeting and stakeholder feedback and delegate activities to be completed by staff to meet the goals

viii.Develop a strategy at this meeting to ensure that the SAT and its associated documentation is accurate.
