As a result of this acquisition, the whole management of the Areeba telecommunication company was replaced. The new management focused on formalization. Thus, it brought changes in the policies and practices. A strict compliance on rules and regulations was executed, which was opposite to the true spirit of innovation for a telecom company. The processes and products of the telecom company demanded innovation with horizontal structure but due to formalization initiatives of new management, now they had more focus on vertical structure.
