It is becoming more common for businesses to take advantage of diversity and make sure that people are treated equally without judgment, and these elements are essential in ensuring a diverse work environment. Among Aetna's diversity initiatives, there are three ways to ensure an understanding of and ability to handle diversity at work. Training modules and workshops are the best ways to educate people to create a positive response, the expectation of what will happen must be understood, and ways to deal with difficult situations that may occur in the space as well as how to handle diversity. A second way is to reward good behavior is to acknowledge the employee's efforts by acknowledging their positive behavior. The employee can know they are valued, which encourages them to keep on working hard and being positive
