As discussed in week 4s reading, Citizen Kane is considered a landmark film, due in part to its storyline, due also to its innovative film techniques. Using specifics from Citizen Kane and the assigned film of your choice (any one from weeks 1-8), discuss how innovations created in Citizen Kane are evident in modern cinema through the lens of the aforementioned film of your choice. This influence may be in terms of directing, cinematography, or some other area preapproved by your instructor. (Please: do not use acting, mood, vibe, or the like -- discussion should be anchored in specific terms and techniques discussed in class and our text.)
