As far as businesses go, there are many of them that do all the right things, and many that don't. When it comes to the labeling of products, I believe that most businesses do a good job of showing what is in their products and how they are to be used. This is most likely because they have to though. The same goes with safety. If a business wants their product to be FDA approved, they have to follow rules and regulations to get that approval, making most FDA approved products, safe to use. A lot of businesses will promote things in their products that can be misleading. An example of this would be a shampoo company writing "new" on their packaging, only to put in fine print on the back that "new" is actually just talking about the packaging being new, not the product itself. The packaging of products can also be very misleading. The most common thing I see is a package that looks like it would hold a lot of product, only to find out that half the container is really just a bunch of plastic built up to make it look like there is more in it then there really is. Pricing of products really depend on the company. I do believe most businesses up charge their products tremendously, but they have to make money in some way.
