As part of a crop research project root length (cm) was compared between fodder beet and oats. A Levene's test p-value of 0.767 and skewness values of -0.33 (fodder beet) and 0.22 (oats) was obtained prior to running the statistical analysis.

The parametric statistical test for comparing the means was run in Minitab and the following output was obtained.
