• the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production, Stockpiling and Use of Chemical Weapons and on Their Destruction, also known as the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC);
• the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT);
• the Chemical and Biological Weapons Control and Warfare Elimination Act of 1991;
• and and other international laws and legal initiatives in place to counter global WMD use.
