As screens have become more pervasive, moving from living rooms to bedrooms to children's pockets, the effects of media exposure are increasingly becoming a topic of interest. Some suggest that media exposure can benefit learning, cognition, and other areas of development (SRCD, 2019) while others suggest that media exposure can affect child development negatively by promoting violence, pornography, isolation, and inactivity.
