As the collaborative wiki has demonstrated, HSPPs have many responsibilities and tasks assigned to them. At times, these responsibilities may be overwhelming in their scope and time consuming. In your job, it is likely that you will have to prioritize which tasks need to be completed first, which ones can be addressed later, and which ones require further research or consultation. In this Discussion, you engage with a scenario that involves tough choices and then reflect and debrief with colleagues who faced that same scenario. Through your shared experience, you gain new skills and insight into the challenges facing HSPPs every day.

• Explain how you prioritized the work activities in the scenario and any strategies you used to do so.
• Describe the potential effect of your prioritization on you, others, and the organization.
• Share an observation about workload based on your own experiences. Provide a tip or strategy that you used to address the issue.
