As we discussed during the risk management section of the course, being able to identify risks in our work or our everyday life is critical. For without the identification of a risk, we cannot take action to mitigate it or eliminate it. We discussed, by way of an analogy the use of radar to allow us to see risks (both threats and opportunities) better, faster and with more clarity. When we do this well we are able to take mitigating actions sooner, more effectively, and with less cost than if our "radar" was less effective.
I want you to reflect upon the actions that you can take to build yourself a better "radar" for the identification of potential risks (opportunities or threats) that can affect you and your team at work or at home. I would like you to provide at least 4 examples of actions you can take that will build this better radar for you? Which of this actions can you start to implement immediately?
I would like your reflection to be at least 500 words and your four examples should cover aspects of your work life and your homelife. Include references to the course materials or external sources as required.
