As your EBP skills grow, you may be called upon to share your expertise with others. While EBP practice is often conducted with unique outcomes in mind, EBP practitioners who share their results can both add to the general body of knowledge and serve as an advocate for the application of EBP.

Roundtable presentations with small groups, large-group in-person talks, and teleconferencing are my preferred distribution methods. I give material to small groups best in a roundtable setting. The more intimate roundtable arrangement helps stakeholders grasp the material and makes it easier to ask questions or voice concerns. I use big group presentations to reach all stakeholders while educating a huge audience. Inability to measure comprehension hinders big group presentations. Questions are harder to ask in a big group, or individuals may feel awkward asking for clarification. Some stakeholders may leave this setting without comprehending the education. Third, use teleconferencing. This will let stakeholders get information at their preferred venue. Teleconferencing helps increase information access. Teleconferencing's biggest drawback is that stakeholders may miss important information due to environmental interruptions. Having all stakeholders wear cameras may reduce this barrier but not remove it.

Offer additional ideas to overcome the barriers to strategies suggested to facilitate dissemination.
