The vapour-liauid equilibrium data for a binary mixture AB is given below The feed mixture (saturated liquid) contains 50mol%A. It is fractioned into product streams one containing 95mol%A and other 5mol%. The feed flow rate is 100 moles/sec. A partial condenser is being used. Use Ponchon-Savarit technique to determine: a) Minimum reflux ratio b) Number of stages of the column, if actual reflux ratio is 1.25 times of minimum c) Location of feed stage d) Reboiler and condenser heat load The enthalpy of liquid \& vapour may be assumed to be constant at 1000KJ/mol and 15,000kJ/mol, respectively for all concentrations
