In short - find one peer-reviewed article that explores ONE facet of this case and be prepared to explain why it is relevant to this case. In doing so there are several things you may wish to consider. The case is regarding the Sports Super Center Gold Coast that includes many amenities and sports facilities. The facet that I am focusing on is the revenue flows and costs. It has become a challenge for three reasons. They are operating at a loss around $2 million annually, extremely high payroll cost, and marketing anomalies. Some strategies to focus on are membership, accommodations, and revenue balance to try and fix the revenue flows and costs.

For example, the reasons the company was set up, the fact that it wanted to do more than just make money, the fact that it had its own charity, or the fact that it was a partnership with State and local governments. Alternatively, you may wish to focus on one type of problem that it faced, and whether the moves to overcome it were successful. This was a case also, where it needed to successfully merge community and professional sport. The case also explored marketing concepts, HR concepts, and it was a case that acknowledged that the internal culture needed to be consistent with the external message.
