Patience working with children -She helped a struggling child in group activities by breaking down tasks into manageable steps, providing patience and encouragement, and repeatedly repeating instructions until the child understood the concept. 2. Positive and close relationship with children and families She's welcoming and enthusiastic attitude to dropoff times has encouraged open discussion between parents and children, creating a safe setting in which parents can discuss their child's development. 3. Effective Communication with Children - She uses open-ended questions in group activities to help children to express their thoughts and feelings, making them more engaged in activity. 1 really love the way that Peta interact with children and other educators, it is direct and fun. She has built very close and respectful relationship with them and children also love to play with her, she is open to chat and always shows her enthusiasm during work. There's only a few points that needed to improve, eg. * Consider more about age apprioprate when planning experience; recently Peta planned activities that were too advanced for the babies age group, such as complex craft projects. + Incorporating Diverse Learning Styles; Peta's storytelling sessions frequently focused on verbal directions, which made it difficult for children with other learning types, such as visual or kinesthetic learners, to remain interested. + Strengthening Problem-Solving Skills; Peta may struggle to adjust quickly to unforeseen situations, such as a sudden schedule change that has been rained out, since she may be unable to locate an alternative. She is a reliable team worker & trust worthy who can handle difficult situations. Punctual - She is a punctual person and always on time to carry out the routines and rhythms of the day in the room. Creativity in Lesson Planning When planning things for the children that are both fun and educational, she is very creative. Children were enjoying themselves with her experiences, and it helped them learn about the world/surroundings in a fun and engaging way. Please provide three skills that require further improvement. Please give examples to support your response. Peta needs to strengthen her curriculum knowledge in order to make lessons more relevant and to include essential learning goals into activities. She also has to work on classroom management, especially when there are changes in the room. Developing better strategies to deal with these shifts might assist to keep the environment calmer and more organised. She also has to be more forceful and confident while interacting with Children's parents, as she frequently delivers brief updates rather than detailed comments.
