1: Develop or source two of your workplace measures of success e.g. KPIs, workplace standards, position description. (Note: If your workplace doesn't have any of these you will have to develop them.) Attach your measures of success to your assessment.

Step 2: Co mplete and attach a self-assessment and a peer assessment of your performance related to the standards above. You can use the templates provided with this unit. Step 3: Provide a performance appraisal report or written feedback from your manager, team leader or supervisor on your work performance.

Step 4: Using the outcomes of these assessments, develop a personal development plan including:

a. Identify at least three (3) new skills/knowledge areas you need develop based on your measures of success (KPIs, standards or similar).

b. How are you going to develop each area and by when?

c. How are you going to measure your progress and success?

d. How will you incorporate your own learning style into the plan?

Step 5: Commence development of at least two new skills, plus acquire a skill which can be developed by participating in at least one networking opportunity. You can use the Personal Learning and Development Plan from your workplace or locate and download from The Superior Implements (SIM CO.) Intranet. Include career objectives, for example, career development objectives, promotion objectives, job goals.
