Assignment 1:

Capital structure is a combination of capital from different sources used by companies to finance the operations and activities. Learners are required to refer at least to at FOUR articles journal for each assignment and answer the following questions:

1. Discuss with examples of various types of companies capital structure.

2. Discuss the factors that influence the choice of companies capital structure.

3. Discuss the relationship between capital structure and companies performance. (20 marks)

Assignment 2:

Choose TWO public listed companies of Bursa Malaysia and access their financial statements for the year ended 2019.

1. Write the introduction of the selected companies.

2. Discuss the disclosure of the capital structure of both companies in their financial statements.

3. Analyse how the capital structure affects the performance of both companies.

4. Write a summary of the assignment. (30 marks)
