Assume you are the owner of a business in Saskatchewan-AWSOM FOOD PREPARATION-employing over

100 employees engaged in a manufacturing/service industrysupplying food preparation equipment

across Canada and into other countries as well.

As the owner you want to have employees come and stay with your company. You require employees

involved in Sales/Design/Manufacturing/Shipping// as well as Administrative related activities.

In your class group,- review, research and discuss how to encourage applicants from across Canada as

well as from other countries to join your company.

List and describe programs that you would develop and provide that would encourage individuals to

engage/develop/ and to maintain an employment relationship with your company.

For example:

-specific training?

-specific activities that you might use to assist the new employees

-engaging programs within the company or outside of business hours

-Please consider the material we reviewed in Chapter 17 to be the base, however

please identify additional specific actions that your group believes would be very

helpful in assimilating and engaging employees especially from other countries.
