The EHR implementation requires project management skills and tools and techniques for planning, executing and monitoring the project progress. After you have submitted the SDLC-based EHR development report, your manager asked you to select the appropriate project management tools, like Gantt Chart or Microsoft project, to list EHR development tasks as Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) andProject milestones (yardsticks)to monitor the progress of these tasks. He advised you to use Microsoft Excel-based Gantt Chart for listing WBS and Milestones for the five (5) EHR development phases ofPlanning, Designing, Building, Testing, and Activationand submit a report.
