1.1 Scenario
You are tasked with designing a cellular network for a city with an area of 688 km2. The
dedicated system bandwidth for that service area is 16.8 MHz. Frequency reuse concept is
applied to enhance the system capacity, cluster size N =7.
2 Tasks and Steps
2.1 Determine the Cell Radius
Carrier frequency fc: 900 MHz
Path Loss Model: Use the Hata model for urban areas.
The Hata model for urban areas is given by:
