Assignment Description: This assignment asks you to propose the work you will complete for your final formal report. In this document, you are soliciting interest and approval to conduct research to investigate and/or solve a business problem. Your submission will follow the formal structure & format of a proposal.

Your Proposal: The proposal does NOT offer findings, recommendations, or research. The proposal is the request or offers to do that work for a client. The topic and research program that you propose in this assignment will be the topic and research program you & your group actually undertake and complete for your group project assignment.

Your Chosen Topic: The topic is open. With your teammates pick an area to research and analyze what you have access to and for which you can provide reasonably valuable findings. You are working in a team for this proposal and the research project. Individuals in your team will have some ideas and some areas they can readily do primary research on. You are proposing a research project which will investigate a real-world, current business problem. See the documentation for the STEP 3 Group Project Research Report assignment for some suggestions and guidelines. You need to determine that bigger research project now and produce the proposal that will sell the idea to your client. Go into sufficient detail about the one that most interests you, explaining why you feel it is a good topic and describing how you would go about developing it into a research projecthow you would gather primary information, what factors you would investigate, etc.
