Project:
Victech Computer Sales and Service Center is a firm based in the United States that sells and services computers. The business has been able to secure a permanent retail site on Phillips Avenue in Seattle's central business area. The company is ready to take part in the competitive computer sales and service market not only in Seattle, Washington, but throughout the United States. Because it is a limited liability business, it must be licensed to operate lawfully. The type of license required will be determined by the products and services I intend to sell, but it will most likely be a sales tax permit and a general business license.
All types of computers, including palmtops, laptops, desktops, and software, in addition supplementary like printers, keyboards, and scanners, will be sold and serviced by the company. Our company's ambition is to thrive as the most recognizable names in the sales and service field of computers in the United States, and we'll all we can to participate positively with the industry's superiors. Within two years, the company's sales goal is to improve the percentage of consumers who rank our services as excellent from 75% to 80%. The company will market to all consumers, but primarily to online shoppers who are taking advantage of internet purchasing because it allows them to compare products and prices. The things we're offering are commonly purchased both domestically and globally, thus the end-users will be individuals and corporations.
These objectives of the business are consistence with changes in the marketing environment such as social, economic, political, and even technological changes (Gonzalez 23-25). We, the company put forth those objectives that can be adaptive to any changes that might and can affect the business in any way especially consumers being affected from having our products and that is why we did expand into online delivery also to allow continuation of flow. At Victech LLC, our customers best interests comes first, values and professional ethics will guide all we do (Alkhairi 4). This ensure that we hold ourselves to the highest standards by accurately answering our clients' needs.
The world of computers has resulted in many companies being established and thriving due to the demand for sales and its services (Thomas 2). Some of the companies were there before technology became known to the world and has been thriving since then to become the major competitors in this field. The constantly changing technology is the reason for the stiff competition we face from companies such as Apple, Dell, and even IBM. The strength this competitors company has mainly is the large market share. This is due to their establishment which was way early and established a significant market as giant technological companies to many people. In addition, their strong employee attitude and integrity is their strength in the field which is a milestone for them. A major weakness though them is product range where they only sell one product of their own which limits their market. For example, an Apple company only sells Apple computers and cannot franchise with other brands.
Computer technology becomes more prevalent with each passing year, growing the market for computer sales and services. (Thomas 10-11). Despite Victech having these giant technology companies as their competitors today, other firms probably in the future will emerge to increase competition in the field of technology. The only way out in this is following and standing by the objectives of the business to continue expanding with the consumers' needs and wants to stay in the game long enough to meet those needs.
Victech Computer Sales & Services Center, LLC hired as part of our quest for excellence, a major expert in business advising and structuring to assist our organization in building a well-structured computer sales and service firm that can compete competitively in the US market. For our organization, management and the consultant collaborated to perform a detailed study of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
Victech Company's core strength is the strength of our personnel. We have a team of experts and engineers who have been trained and certified to repair computers as well as the ability to effectively connect with and assist relevant consumers. A staff with exceptional qualifications and expertise in a variety of industrial market gaps. We will not only focus our efforts on the greatest workforce selection, however, we will make certain that our services adhere to industry best practices and that always we stock a wide range of computer brands and models.
Our company may require some time to establish itself in the Washington market and gain acceptability as a new computer service and sales center, particularly from high-profile clients in an already competitive field. This is the most critical problem in our team. The rising usage of electronic commerce has lowered computerized customer traffic retailers, additionally reducing returns, and the local personal computer market. Two of the issues we will face are market saturation and growing competition from tablets, both of which have caused a reduction in sales.
The business operation is affected by forces from outside such as political, economic technological, and many more. Because of interactions with customers and the market, sociocultural elements have an impact on a company's internal decision-making process. The economic and political environment has a significant impact on the company since the government can reduce corporate tax, which harms and damages the organization's revenues (Phillips 10-11). They can also affect businesses by increasing the value-added tax on goods and company rates. Technology has transformed how businesses gather, store, use, and retrieve data, as well as assisting them in developing game-changing business strategies.
Before beginning our computer sales and services company in Washington, a market research was conducted and studies of feasibility, and we are convinced that a wide spectrum of individual clients and corporate will be unable to run their businesses without computers. We have established methods for reaching out to a wide range of businesses and individuals who, in our opinion, can't live without our products and services (Alkhairi 2-4). The company targets the young demographic age characteristic. Those especially in colleges, universities, and also high school are the target for our products as they are used mostly in school.
Occupation also matters a lot in that, even if we try our best to make these gadgets and services cheaper, they are still expensive, and not all average people can afford them. However, our services are not limited to a specific sex bracket and are hence reliable to all. The location of the business came in handy as we did set up to be centrally located and near schools that need our services hence accessibility to us even to our suppliers could not be affected when we needed our resources to run the business.
Pulling through in the commercial world as a Computer Sales and Services Company necessitates not only technical knowledge and the ability to do routine maintenance and repairs, but also the ability to network with key stakeholders. So building a good attitude with customers and making them interested in whatever you are providing is key to motivating and growing the business.
The most significant market needs are support, service, training, and installation, in that order, because our target market is the product and service seeker. We offer those needs and they meet our current product offerings. This to many of our competitors is not offered a lot as they concentrate mostly in advertising their products leaving out those who need the services. We recognize the need of focusing our marketing message and service offerings, but we will not change much soon because these services will continue to exist in our technological environment.
Victech Computer Sales and Services Center was founded with the intention of profiting as much as possible in the sales and services market of computers (Alkhairi 2). We want to participate accordingly with American businesses, so we've assembled a qualified quality assurance team to ensure that every service we give meets, if not surpasses, our clients' expectations. Our products and services include all sorts of computer sales and services, sale of computer software, installation of computers, and selling peripherals and servicing of computer such as printers, keyboards, and monitors.
The products I offer distinguish me from my competitors in many ways as stated most of my competitors align in one brand in that if I have a dell computer that needs to repair I cannot repair it in another shop that is not related to dell. In my company, I have the advantage of accepting all brands and servicing them all. The retail price in the company is a bit lower than the normal prices in other companies which minimizes the competition we face. We mostly use department stores as our retailers and also warehouse retailers.
Victech's marketing goals are to boost demand and, as a result, increase client lifetime value. Our other purposes include informing the market and differentiating our product from others (Alkhairi 4). The promotion expenses for the company add up to the amount of $ 3500 and the inclusivity of printing flyers increases the cost to $ 3680. The ability to collaborate with our in-house brand and PR consultant to develop a strategic plan a public strategy for promoting the business through advertising. We will offer discounts to the first 1000 customers as motivation through sales promotion. Media relations activities will be a strategy also for public relations with our business.
A better way to promote this business is through personal selling especially products with a relatively high price (Alkhairi 4-5). Follow-up after purchase and considering an email track software is a good example of what we will implement. Handling customers interactions is a strategy to promote the business and all these strategies give the company a competitive advantage and better still within the budget.
