When a group of terrorists gun down Doc, Marty flees in the time machine and transports back to 1955. Arriving in 1955, Marty discovers that he has no plutonium so he cannot return to 1985.In addition, his arrival causes a chain of events needing to be rectified for the betterment of his family. Marty's project involves returning to 1985 and saving Doc's life. The scope of the project, a defined schedule, and an important target closure date, supported with the project management knowledge areas, are important for Marty throughout his adventure. Will he succeed in returning to 1985 and save his Doc and his family? Project Management Knowledge Areas There are 10 knowledge areas in Project Management (described below). 1. This includes resource planning and cost budgeting. 5. QUALITY MANAGEMENT processes that ensure the result of a project meets the needs for which the project was executed. This includes quality planning, assurance, and control. 6. HUMAN RESOURCE MAMAGEMENT - People are a major part of any project, and different people are 7. COMMUNICATION MANAGEMENT processes to handle the substantial amount of communications that must occur in any project where information is created in a timely manner, and disseminated to the appropriate parties. 8. RISK MAMAGEMEMNT must be integral part of any project since everything doesn't always go as planned. 9. PROCUREMENT MAMNAGEMENT processes that are used to manage what to procure and when to procure it. 10. PROJECT STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT processes required to identify the people, groups, or organizations that could impact or be impacted by the project, to analyze stakeholder expectations and their impact on the project.
