student post: When it comes to companies using big data, the biggest concern is whether it's being kept private. Many companies have incidents of data leaks which is a concern for everyone involved. The more a company has leaks the more customers will feel unsafe and will find other alternative companies that believe in keeping their customers privacy. I believe companies should be penalized for not using all their resources to keep big data safe. As time passes we will only be deeper into this digital world and our privacy is almost nonexistent.
