2. Study Chapter 8 and think about the K@W interview discussion points raised by Gallo as you read about the various communication concepts presented in the chapter.

4. Gallo main thesis of communication encompasses several elements. Identify these elements and then discuss how they relate to at least 3 concepts discussed in chapter 8 (sections 8.2 and 8.4).
5. How does Gallo's treatment of communication barriers compare to the text's discussion of barriers? Where are there similarities? What are some differences? Be specific. (section 8.3)
6. Think about how Gallo's discussion centers on the relational aspects of communication - that is, making the connection between sender and receiver. What considerations does your text suggest we leverage to improve the quality of the relational context in our communication? (see sections 8.4.and 8.5)
