Interest is payable annually on 5 January Biovac board also issued a R400,000, 6%, 15-year mortgage payable to ABASA, a group of young accountants. The terms provide for annual instalment payments of R41,185 on 31 December You are required: a) In respect of the 10-year, 10% bonds: i Prepare general journals for the issuance of the bonds on 1 January 2021 Prepare the journal entries for interest expense in respect of the reporting period ended 30 September 2021. [4.5 marks] b) For the mortgage payable: Prepare a payment schedule for the first three instalment payments. [6.5 marks)
