1. Assume that on November 14, 2011, Ozzy oz interviewed for a chef's job at the new Hilton Hotel complex. Ozzie is only 5 feet tall. During the interview, Ann Ames asked him "how are you?" He responded, "Old the enough to perform this job. Just because i am a small, doesn't mean I am not a responsible person." Because he had good references from 2 restaurants in San Antonio where he had worked the last two years, Ann offered him a job. The 1-year employment contract he signed provided, "because chefs will necessarily have access to trade secrets in the ingredients for our special recipes, chefs must agree not to reveal any trade secrets to any employer and not to work for any competitors as a chef for three years after leaving employment with Hilton."

Before he started work, however, Ozzie got a better offer to work as a chef for a fancy upscale restaurant, La Maison. He went back to Ann Ames and said, "I am old enough to perform this job I dropped out of school at 16 but have been working as a chef for the past two years and my references are good as you saw. But my 18th birthday is next week. So, I was a minor when i made that contract. Further i don't know any of your trade secrets yet. So I am going to work for La Maison."
