Assume that the height of your cylinder is8inches.ConsiderA as a function ofr, so we can write that as A(r)=2pier^2+16pier. Continue to assume thatthe height of your cylinder is8inches. Write the radiusr as a function of A. This is the inverse function to A(r), i.e. to turn A as a function of r into r as a function of A.
There is three parts to this question but ive already solved two of them. This is the last question and I for the life of me can not solve this or get it right. I have a little box when you submit the answer that will tell me if it right or wrong so we'll see. I keep getting -4+ the sqrt 2A+64pie/2 sqrt of pie. What am I doing wrong and can you PLEASE show your work so I understand what I'm doing wrong.
