Assume that your boss or department chair wants you to submit a short report analyzing a problem.

Your Task: Analyze a problem that exists where you work, such as long lines at the copy or fax machines, overuse of express mail services, understaffing during peak customer service hours, poor scheduling of employees, or any other office problem.

Select a problem about which you have some knowledge. Prepare a cluster diagram to brainstorm/develop ideas. Then, organize the ideas into an outline with three to five main points and numerous sub points. Be polite, positive, and constructive. E-mail the outline to your boss (your instructor). Include an introduction and a closthat offers to share your cluster diagram if your boss would like to see it.
