Assume you have been hired by the MUN University President to come up with a strategy to improve the teaching performance of all full-time instructors at the university. The President recently read an article in an in-flight magazine while flying to a conference and the article was all about Organizational Behavior (OB) and how OB researchers have much to say about enhancing work performance - including the performance of university instructors. Based upon his fascination with the article, he wants you to base your strategy on specific action plans derived from theories that are relevant to performance enhancement - theories that would be found in an OB textbook or OB research article.

Your task is to identify 5 distinct theories you think could be used to develop concrete and specific action plans to enhance teaching performance of instructors. Note these must be theories that are found and described in your OB textbook.

To structure your paper, first provide a general introduction followed by a brief summary of your overall approach. Then, briefly review each theory in turn, and suggest how each theory can be useful for designing a specific action plan to enhance teaching performance. Briefly describe the resulting action plan emanating from each individual theory. Because you will be drawing from 5 theories, there should be five distinct action plans all designed to individually and collectively enhance teaching performance.

The paper length should be about 6-8 double-spaced Microsoft Word pages with a Times new Roman 12 pt. font. There is no need for a table of contents or an Executive Summary. Because all of the information will be obtainable from your textbook, you should reference your textbook at the conclusion of your paper using APA format.
