At steady state the test rig maintains fin base temperature at a constant 100C, while fin itself is exposed to air at 20C. Uniform rectangular cross-section aluminum (k=180W/mK) fin is 30 mm long and wide and has a thickness of 0.3mm. The thermocouple is installed at the fin tip to allow fin tip temperature measurement. For a particular natural convection airflow around the fin tip, the temperature at x=L is measured to be uniform at 61.2C. Calculate the average convectional heat transfer coefficient h for this fin. Note: There is no need to attempt to use prescribed temperature x=L, the 2 nd boundary condition (uniform cross-sectional annular fin), since it is just one single temperature measurement at the tip. We are not controlling the temperature at the tip
