Not all of the points that are made for each chapter will relate to your brand, but it helps to guide you in your research and plan development. For the budget you will provide information on the budget category and the cost associated with it for the campaigns you have proposed (you do not need to go into the details of in-house, outsource, or total category for this assignment) I highly suggest that you begin this project NOW and work on it weekly. April 20th will be here sooner than you realize. OL Digital Marketing (Spring 2020) Social Media Individual Project: Social Media Plan Due: Monday, April 20, 2020 (early submissions are allowed) Approach: Each individual will create a complete social media plan to compete in the marketplace. A sample plan is located in Appendix A. Brand selection: The brands you select MUST be important to Gen ZOR you can utilize your personal business or upcoming entrepreneurial aspiration. Brands that cannot be utilized for this project are Nike, Apple, Adidas, or Coca Cola. Each individual will develop a three part social plan following the outline in Appendix A. (1) Brand Summary and Social Analysis (2) Big Idea and Social Channels (3) The Social Media Plan (you will not include a presentation) Evaluation for this assignment is based on the written plan and the ability to the individual to provide the required information with proper support. Content is KEY and you must follow the templates provided in Appendix A for the three sections of the social plan. Each individual will need to create dummy accounts (not actually in social media, but utilize the graphics to develop pictures and other elements for the selected social media platforms) so that they can create samples of text-based, image-based, infographic, video content, and other content being utilized in the plan's execution. The plan will follow ALL elements of the sample plan provided. It is highly suggested that you begin this project immediately. It aligns with the chapter assignments and will allow you to gain practical experience related to the material ~ Your selected brand is due with Week #5 assignments. In the event one brand has been selected by greater than 3 students, the Professor reserves the right to ask students to select another brand.
