At the end of Week 6 (Friday 1st April), you will be required to submit a critical reflection paper on an event you have attended or are familiar with (ideally one that has been held in the past 3 years).

Examine your chosen event with respect to its stakeholder engagement. Identify 2 relevant stakeholders and then discuss for each the nature of the interest (stake) they possess, and their needs and expectations in relation to the event. With reference to stakeholder theory, comment on how well the legitimate needs and expectations of these stakeholders has been understood and met by the event. Where relevant, discuss how the event could better engage with these stakeholders in order to generate improved outcomes.

A minimum of 3 peer reviewed academic journal articles must be integrated within your reflection,and in addition you should refer to published media articles and other sources of information aboutthe event to back up your discussion.

The event I am choosing is FIFA World Cup Russia 2018.

Clearly expresses the nature of the interest (stake), and provides insightful discussion of the needs and expectations of the two stakeholders.

- Paper displays an excellent understanding of the theory and content raised in lectures and/or prescribed readings. Paper draws on relevant sources beyond the minimum three academic journal articles to support a critical reflection on stakeholder engagement. Paper provides an insightful discussion on how well the stakeholders needs have been met and/or how the event could improve its stakeholder engagement.
